As shown in the figure below, I start by rolling off the low-end frequencies for my initial cleanup. In order to clean this vocal we're now going to want to add an EQ and find the harsh frequencies that we love while eliminating those that we do not. There's no true way of having perfect pitch so you should always apply this even if you can't hear a huge difference! 3.)
